Lucas Story, 18, plays “Johnny,” the main protagonist in the show.

“It’s just so awesome to be around people in a show like ‘American Idiot’,” Story said. “I personally think this has been my favorite production I’ve done, and afterwards I’m thinking of doing more theatre around Grand Rapids.”

Each show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $22 for students and seniors and $28 for adults. There is also $10 student rush tickets available one hour before the show begins.
