Whether this year you are hosting a Super Bowl party, or attending one, here are a few basic guidelines to making sure it is the best one yet.
- A TV
Having a TV is a necessity to a successful Super Bowl Party, because otherwise, you can’t watch the game. Therefore, make sure whether you are the host or the attendee, that there is a TV in the household. The game will be broadcasted on FOX network.
2. A crockpot
A crockpot is something that can make cooking so simple. If you are hosting a Super Bowl Party then you are going to want to make sure that you have one. Crockpots make it so you do not have to sit at the oven watching your food cook, or worry about if the food is staying hot. Or, on the contrary, if you are traveling to someone’s house with a recipe, this is such an easy way to transport your dish.
3. Super Bowl themed disposable dinnerware
What is more perfect than eating off paper plates that have the team’s logo on it? Having Super Bowl themed paper plates ties the whole party together. And, after all, you can only get this themed dinnerware once a year.
If you are hosting a Super Bowl Party this year make sure that you have an abundance of napkins. People can get super messy with all the appetizers, and especially with their drinks. Be precautious with this situation.
5. Coolers or Tubs for drinks
All of your sodas, and drinks need to stay cold. Therefore, if you are traveling to someone’s house bring all your drinks in a cooler so you do not need to worry about if they have extra space or not. And if you are hosting, maybe you should have a few extra coolers available so the fridge is jam-packed.
6. Ice, Ice, and more Ice
To go along with #5, the drinks need to stay cold in the coolers. Make sure you have plenty of ice so you don’t have to run out in the middle of the game to go get more.
7. Serving platters and trays
To accompany all the food you are about to have in your household, make sure you have enough platters and trays. That way you don’t have to mix up your mild wings from your blazin wings, or have the fruit on the same tray as the meatballs.
Whenever you think of a place to go to watch a big game, a lot of the time people find themselves at Buffalo Wild Wings. So why not bring the wings to your own house? It is a tailgating essential, and a crowd favorite. Wings can also be kept in a crockpot, which makes for another easy, transportable recipe.
9. Tailgate comfort food (chili, meatballs, nachos)
Along with wings, make sure you have some tailgating comfort food. Chili, meatballs, nachos, and pigs in a blanket always go over well and never disappoint.
10. As many dips as possible
Finally, what’s better than having an enormous amount of dips? From queso, to salsa, to guacamole, to buffalo chicken dip, the options are endless. That way, with having so many dips you are sure to satisfy everyone’s tastebuds.
