The GRCC women’s basketball dominates offensively in a 65-41 victory over Glen Oaks CC.
The Raiders put together a good offensive performance, shooting 43 percent from the field, along with 80 percent from the three point line.
“Today was maybe the best offensive four quarters we played all season long,” said Head Coach Dave Glazier. “That is saying something.”
Patience played a huge role in GRCC’s offensive success, and they simply took what the defense gave them.
“We didn’t play robotic today, and just simply took what the defense gave us,” Glazier said.
The communication on the floor is improving, as the players loved tonight’s performance.
“We are being a lot more unselfish and passing the ball around a lot better,” said Freshman Guard Claire Flewelling.
Communication is key for any team and it seems to be improving for GRCC.
“We are doing a better job of communicating and it is starting to carry over to good offense,” said Freshman Guard Maddie Albert.
Freshman Guard Makayla Beld led the way for the Raiders notching a double double, 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Freshman Guard Allazae Lloyd finished with 14 points and three steals.
