This year’s Grand Rapids Restaurant Week starts today and will be fundraising for Grand Rapids Community College.
Restaurant Week allows the residents of Grand Rapids and neighboring cities to “Taste the City.”
During Restaurant Week, local restaurants offer special “earth-to-table’’ meals at very reasonable prices. Some restaurants are offering specials including $28 per person for a three-course dinner, or a dinner for two.
Also, for the first time, a handful of the 60-plus restaurants that are participating are serving a two-course lunch for $14 per person.
Restaurants will offer the farm-fresh menu options that upholds Grand Rapids’ “Michigan’s Best Food City” reputation.
The restaurants will also offer locally crafted wines, brews and cocktails.
As a part of Restaurant Week, the restaurants will be donating $1 from each meal to the Secchia for Culinary Education Student Scholarship Fund at GRCC.
A small list of restaurants include:
- The B.O.B
- Atwater Brewery
- Brewery Vivant
- Charley’s Crab Restaurant
- Cork Wine & Grille
