We’ve all heard about Tech Tuesday, but never about App Tuesday. This year, The Collegiate will introduce readers to a different app they didn’t know they needed.
As college students, we’re always on the lookout for inexpensive (for lack of a better word) tools to get us through our college years without breaking the bank. Enter App Tuesday and all of our problems will be solved (if only it were that easy).
This week we’ll start App Tuesday with the Hoopla app by Midwest Tape, LLC. Hoopla allows users to borrow audiobooks, eBooks, digital movies, music, and more. The app works with local libraries, so users must have an active library card to use the app.
Hoopla is free to download and use on Apple and Android devices. Once the initial set up is done, users can enjoy their library’s array of content.
If you have an app that you’d like to see featured on App Tuesday let us know in the comments. Tell us how you use the app and why you like it and, you may be given a shout-out or be featured in one of our stories.
