Grand Rapids Community College’s on-campus restaurants, Heritage, Raider Grille, Quiet Cafe and Art & Bev’s Bistro, have updated their exam and summer schedule for the public.
Holly VanRyn, a professor at GRCC for culinary education shared some information on the Heritage.
“The Heritage will be closed to the public during exam week. Our last day of service was Friday, April 13. We do not yet have dates set for next academic school year. However, we typically reopen during the second week of class. Our hours for next fall will be Lunch – 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Tuesday-Friday Dinner – 5:30-7:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday,” VanRyn said.
Marcia Arp, Professional Support Staff Secchia Institute for Culinary Education, added that “Art and Bev… will close April 18 and will reopen in the fall. Our hours of operation are 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and in the fall we will only be open Tuesday through Thursday.”
The Quiet Café will be open through the summer, starting May 7th Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Exam Week Hours: April 23rd – 27th
The Raider Grille will be open on April 23 and 24 from 10:20 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Raider Grille closes Wed. April 25 for the rest of summer. The Raider Grille will open their doors back up on the first day of school at the end of August.
Be sure to check out some of your favorite food and beverage shops on campus, before they close for the summer.
Both the Quiet Café, and the Raider Grille are located on the 2nd floor of the Student Center, both the Heritage and Art & Bev’s Bistro can be located in the GRCC Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center.
