The 25th annual West Fest begins tomorrow, May 17, and runs through May 20 at John Ball Zoo.

There will be several spectacular events going on for this year’s West Fest. Some of the events include a carnival, Polish, Irish and Scottish dancing, live musical performances and a scavenger hunt. For a full schedule of events visit the West Fest webpage.

“It is nice to have a neighborhood street festival that attracts people to the westside,” said Co-Owner and Director of Marketing and Booking at Skerbeck Entertainment Group, Sonja Skerbeck. “The park is an ideal place to have an event like this because it is just beautiful.”

Individuals are able to purchase wristbands or tickets online or during the event. A single day wristband will cost $28. Individual ride tickets are also available for purchase at the carnival. Those who visit the Skerbeck webpage tomorrow before noon can receive a $8 discount on a single day wristband.

The event is sponsored by Sacred Heart of Jesus and Skerbeck Entertainment Group. The proceeds for the is event will go to the Sacred Heart Academy.
