8/17/2011

Two women began fighting in the GRCC bookstore. The two began swearing at each other and the altercation became physical. The suspect was eventually found and charges were filed.

 

Trespassing
10/2/2011

A man was found going through trash cans in the Bostwick Commons. The man was advised he was trespassing, was asked to leave and given the boundaries of the campus.

 

Alcohol on Campus
10/5/2011

A bottle of alcohol was found in a locker on the second floor of the Cook Building. The bottle was dumped out and faculty is being asked to report any information they may find.

 

Medical
10/5/2011

A student began having a diabetic reaction while in a wellness class on campus. The student was given food and sweet candy but denied further medical attention.

 

Verbal Disturbance
10/5/2011

Two men were involved in a verbal argument while walking in the Bostwick Commons. It was unclear what the argument was about and both men were warned by campus police.

 

Larceny
10/5/2011

After leaving campus for the day, a student realized they had left a textbook in the Student Center. When she returned, the books were gone. No suspects.

A suspect was found wondering around Winchester Alley. He was found to be on parol and was given a warning.

A student had what appeared to be a seizure while on campus. Police responded and the student was taken to the hospital.

 

Stolen GRCC Property

A lab top that was owned by the college was stolen from a students house. The case is being investigated.

 

Disorderly Conduct
10/7/2011

Two female students filed complaints about a male student who they felt was harassing them. The suspect was questioned and was found to be on the sex offender list. He was advised to attend class and only speak to those completely necessary.

Police found an abandoned bicycle hidden in the Bostwick Ramp. The bicycle was brought back to the station.

A student backed into another student while in the Bostwick Ramp. The situation escalated as the two girls began to shout back and forth. Police were called and no damage was found on the cars.

A nude man snapped the gate arm off in the Barclay parking ramp. The suspect was shouting and slurring his words and attempted to run from campus police but was caught and questioned. The man stated that he was on cocaine and other drugs and was taken to the hospital to be checked.

A student had 2 books and a phone stolen from a bag in the locker room. The bag didn’t fit in a locker but was locked shut. No suspects.

Police responded to a report of a student having a seizure while on campus. The student refused medical treatment.

 

Disorderly Conduct
10/11/2011

Two men began shouting at each other as they passed each other while on campus. The suspect stated that he felt he was being instigated and that he had a past with the victim. The suspect warned.

Campus Police found graffiti on the east side of the Ford Fieldhouse. The initials “AZ” were painted next to a spray-painted heart. No suspects.

A GRCC student struck another student’s car has he pulled into a parking spot leaving a long scratch on the side of the car.

10/14/2011

Over eight hundred dollars work of camera equipment was stolen when it was left in the bathroom. The victim left the equipment on a hook and had forgotten it. Upon returning, the equipment was gone. No suspects.

A student returned to her car and found her registration plate had been stolen. No suspects.

 

Disorderly Conduct
10/17/201

A student left a GRCC radio unattended to while in the Ford Fieldhouse. The radio was taken by another student who pretended to be a cop. The suspect stated false statements about what was happening in the area. The suspect was warned.

A student became sick while on campus and eventually vomited four times before being brought to the hospital.

 

Damage to Property
10/18/2011

Maintance reported damage to a bathroom in the Main Building. It appeared that the suspects had torn the soap dispensers off the wall and damaged the paper towel dispensers. No suspects.
