A gate arm was broken by a student as they attempted to leave the campus. The driver stated that they hit the gas rather than the brake causing the car to go through the gate.

A bicycle was left on campus overnight by a student. When the student returned in the morning, the bicycle was gone. No suspects.

Two students were observed smoking while on GRCC’s campus. They were advised that GRCC was a smoke free campus and given Non-Compliance tickets.

A man was observed carrying a large knife on his belt while in the bookstore. Police were called and the man was informed that no knives over three inches were allowed on campus. The man was cooperative and was asked to leave the campus.

Graffiti was found at three different locations around GRCC’s campus. Images included a jellyfish, a ghost and a figure. All graffiti was placed next to initials “AZ.” No suspects.

A student suffered a dislocated shoulder while participating in a wellness class. The student refused treatment and was taken to the hospital by a family member.

A student received medical attention for injuries to her knee. The girl had slipped in the rain and was driven by campus police to her car.

A man was observed inside a dumpster near the Cook/Main Buildings. Officers advised the man that he was not to be in the dumpster and was asked to leave.

A driver turning onto Lyon struck a pedestrian causing injuries to the pedestrian. The driver was unsure what they were distracted by but police found that texting was not involved.

A student returned to her car to find damage to the bumper. There appeared to be damage to the paint and scrapes and an indention in the bumper. No suspects.

Police were called to check on a fire alarm going off in the Student Center. Upon arrival, it was found that the alarm was accidentally pulled by a 6 year old child.

A student twisted his ankle while participating in a wellness class. There appeared to be no swelling and the student decided to see outside medical attention.

A student’s backpack was stolen while the victim was shooting baskets. The backpack was later found in a garbage can with a cell phone, wallet and two headphones missing. No suspects.
