GRCC hosts the Nations Cup international student culinary competition

International culinary students prepare dishes for the Nations Cup competition.

The Nations Cup, a culinary competition at Grand Rapids Community College, is going on from Friday through Saturday evening. It is structured similar to the show TV, Iron Chef. Competitors are presented with mystery ingredients and given a limited amount of time to turn them into a five-star meal. Teams of student chefs from six nations come to compete for the cup, Barbados, Mexico, United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
