Grand Rapids Community College students will present their musical talents at 8 p.m. this Thursday and Friday night as a part of the “Musical Moods” concert.

During the 66th annual performance audiences will be entertained by students involved in the music department at GRCC.

Unlike previous years, this is the first that the show will cover two nights.

“I think the concept is more fitting, students will be able to have more performance time,” said Professor of Music, Michael Gillan.

Both performances will be held at St. Cecilia’s Music Center in the legendary Royce Auditorium. They will be featuring some of music’s up and coming solo artists, instrumental, and choral ensembles.

“This is a great chance for the student body to hear what the music department has produced,” he said.

Ticket prices range from $8 for students and senior citizens, and $12 for non-student adult guests. Tickets can be purchased at the door on both nights for entry. Proceeds from the event are contributed to the GRCC Music Department to further benefit scholarship funds.
