Grand Rapids Community College Players will be presenting three student-directed one act plays starting at 8 p.m. on April 10 and 11 in Spectrum Theater, room 201. Admission is free to students, faculty and the public. Each show is approximately 20-30 minutes long.

The three shows, Leon and Joey, A Great-Looking Boat and Sonny DeRee’s Life Flashes Before His Eyes, are directed by Charlene Sommer, Kendra Jones and Meeka Postman respectively.  The three were given this opportunity through participation in TH 270, Directing. The goal of this event is to provide these students with real world directing experience.

“I really enjoyed the creative process and discovering the different characters. It’s great to help the actors and watch them bring those characters to life,” Postman said.
