Blade Runner at the UICA

Sunday is the first movie in the “Brunch, Brews and a Movie” series, a collaboration between Grand Rapids Brewing Company and the UICA. The first film will be the 1982 sci-fi, cult classic “Blade Runner.” Starring Harrison Ford and directed by Ridley Scott, the film is set in a dystopian future where Ford is tasked with tracking down rogue androids with the purpose of “retiring” them. A $20-ticket includes one entrée, one drink, a lecture about the film by Anthony Griffin, access to the UICA galleries and entrance to the 117-minute film. They can be purchased at GRBC (1 Ionia Ave. SW). Tickets to the film without brunch and the lecture are $8 ($6 for UICA members) and can be purchased at the UICA (2 Fulton St. W).
