The Grand Rapids Community College Hispanic Student Organization Dance Group and The Cook Arts Center are hosting a Halloween costume party tonight.
Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in costume as there will be a costume contest and a dance off with prize incentives.
A variety of authentic Hispanic dishes will be available for $5 each, as well as Coke products and water for $1.
The party is not restricted to GRCC students, anyone 18 or older is welcome as long as they present a valid ID.
“I hope a lot of people show up and have fun at this event,” said Denis Martinez, president of the Hispanic Student Organization.
The party will be from 7-11 p.m. Friday at the Cook Arts Center, 644 Grandville Ave SW. Tickets are $2 in advance and $3 at the door.
