The Grand Rapids Community College Campus Activities Board will hold their annual Winter Finals Relaxer on April 20 at the Ford Fieldhouse.
“This is an annual event hosted by CAB in April at the end of the winter semester. Finals Relaxer is designed to let students kick back and relax right before the week of final exams,” said Hana Christoffersen, President of CAB.
The event will take on a safari theme.
There will be free food, games, activities, live animal showings and giveaways. The intent is for students to relax and have fun for a day before taking exams. The Finals Relaxer will go from 11 a.m- 2 p.m. and is for all GRCC students.
“We will have an inflatable obstacle course, hungry hippos inflatable, bubble soccer, two photo booths, coloring stations, henna tattoos, and rice jewelry,” Christoffersen said. “We will have animal showings as well, so students have the opportunity to selfie with a giant, yellow python if they would like.”
Finals Relaxer is a collaborative event between CAB, Foreign Affairs Club, Hispanic Student Organization, Phi Theta Kappa and TRiO.
