budget, and an estimated $255,000 came in from the student activity fee, leaving a total of $331,000 in expenditures for the year. This money pays for club funding, student leader compensation and other student related expenses. The extra allocations fund is totaled at $46,800.

Student clubs and organizations can request additional funding from the extra allocations fund. This year, the fund has more money than usual because funding for Black History Month events and the Global Experience Festival were taken out of the budget. Those clubs can now request funding for those events individually.

“It’s for trips and events when (clubs) need some extra money,” said Kyezie Bwanangela, Student Alliance operations director.
