For anyone who doesn’t know what to get that special someone in their life, the Grand Rapids Community College Campus Activities Board is hosting a Valentine’s Day event.
From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 9, students will be able to “Stuff-A-Plush,” for free at the Raider Grille, on the second floor of the Student Center. Students are advised to get there early because supplies are limited and a line is expected.
Amped Events is going to be providing the plush skins of over a dozen variety of stuffed animals, and you will get to fill them with stuffing and put on a shirt with Valentine’s Day saying like “Be Mine” on it. There will also be customized name rings available.
Valentine’s day only comes around once a year and nobody would want to forget to have something to give to that special person in their life.
“It’s a great event for anyone who needs a gift for Valentine’s Day that’s meaningful and free,” said Rubin Resendiz, CAB president.
