The Week Ahead 2/3-7

Michigan International Auto Show

The week ahead features several fun activities including the Michigan International Auto Show and much more.

The 2017 Michigan International Auto Show will be held Friday, Feb. 3. Through Sunday Feb. 5 at the Devos Place, 303 Monroe Ave NW. The show will feature both classic cars as well as brand new designs from the automotive industry. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for children 16-4, and free for children 5 and under. Bamfomania, Razz Na$-T, E. Andrei and Motorkam will be performing at 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Pyramid Scheme, 68 Commerce SW. All acts are local and will be performing a mix of hip hop and pop music. Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 day of show. Guests 21 and up are welcome.

“The Drunken Retort” is hosted at 8 p.m. every Monday night at Stella’s Lounge, 53 Commerce Ave. The night features local poetry, acoustic music and comedy. The event is free and features several drink specials. Guests age 21 and up are welcome.

“Fire Walk with Me”, a film by David Lynch will be screened at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7. at The Wealthy Theater, 1130 Wealthy St. SE. The film is connected to David Lynch’s acclaimed television series “Twin Peaks”. The film is regarded as a prequel of sorts for the short lived television show. Tickets are $6 for non-members and $5 for members. Members can also purchase alcohol at the theater. Guests of all ages are welcome.
