Today is the 19th Annual “Salute to Women,” a reception to award four women in the Grand Rapids Community College community who have accomplished great things in their fields over the year is being held today on campus.
The 19th annual Salute to Women Conference will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the GRCC Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center banquet room.
The women being honored this year is GRCC Nursing Professor Laura B. Moody. She will be joined by GRCC Alumni and Aquinas Professor Dr. Nkechy Ekere Ezeh, who also is the founder and CEO of the Early Learning Neighborhood Collaborative. Also being honored is Christina Arnold, a former GRCC employee and founding director of the Bob and Aleicia Woodrick Center for Equity and Inclusion and GRCC student and business administration major Erendida Erazo-Alas.
The award presentations will begin at 2 p.m. Anyone is welcome.
