The 7th Annual Irish on Ionia is set to begin at 7a.m.,Saturday March 18. It will take place on Ionia Avenue, between Fulton Street and Oakes Street in downtown Grand Rapids and feature multiple spots for music as well as – a St. Patrick’s Day mainstay – drinks.

The VIP option includes: a fastpass for the gates, an Irish On Ionia Tee, a 22-ounce mug with half price refills and Camp O’Mally Drinking Gloves. One dollar of each VIP ticket will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Grand Rapids.

Two stages will be performing live music for 12 hours with headliners such as Stone Clover & the Waxies, CrossBow and Blarney Castle. Other groups will be performing throughout the day as well.

Free for the first 200 guests, The Waldron Public House will be having their Kegs & Eggs buffet breakfast from 7 a.m. – 10 a.m. There will be an NCAA ESPN heated tent with televised coverage of the NCAA March Madness games throughout the day so guests can enjoy the local brews while not missing the college tournament. Celtic dancers and an Irish circus troupe will be performing at various points of the street for entertainment.
Tickets are available on the Irish on Ionia website, and limited quantities will be available to purchase at the gate. To accommodate safe travel, Uber is the official transporter of Irish On Ionia with a free ride up to $15 the day of the event with the code IOI2017.
