Today, President Bill Pink gave his 14-year-old daughter, Lydia, a tour of the Grand Rapids Community College Campus.
Lydia, a freshman at Grand Rapids Christian High School, wanted to check out the school’s campus where her father works and to see the new GRCC fall apparel. She may also attend GRCC after she graduates.
Their first stop was at the Main Building where they conversed with students walking in the halls.
Afterwards, they walked over to the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center to stop in and talk to the Dean of the School of Workforce Development, Amy Koning.
Their third stop was the Student Center to visit the GRCC Bookstore. Lydia was eager to look at some of the GRCC apparel with her father.
Their final destination was the Albert P. Smith Music Center. “It is an incredible transformation of the building” Pink said as he entered the building.
