The entries can be any type of nonfiction writing that engages others. It can be an academic essay or even a multimodal project, all essays need to be submitted before Wed., Feb. 28.
Basically, it’s a chance for the students to share their favorite writings and give a chance for the text to be read and not just die after getting the grade.
“We designed it to highlight the writings of our students,” said Assistant Professor of English Composition Megan Lockard. “…We wanted not only to showcase the skills of our students, but to give them a chance to win some money,”
The results will be announced at the end of this semester, and the winners will be published on the school’s website.
