Grand Rapids Community College’s Campus Activities Board presents its annual Cupid’s Workshop from 12:30 p.m to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 at the Student Center Raider Grille in celebration of Valentine’s Day.

Students who attend will get the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities.

At the Stuff-A-Plush table students can make their sweetheart a stuffed animal. In order to participate, students must present their Raider Card.

Brianna Castillo, President of the Campus Activities Board, encourages students to stop by Cupid’s Workshop to partake in the festivities.

“We are providing a variety of snacks for students to take with them in goodie bags,” Castillo said.

Aside from goodie bags, students can pick up chocolate covered strawberry gift boxes or purchase flowers at the flower sale for their loved ones.

“The Hispanic Student Organization will be selling roses,” Castillo said. “Also Title IX will be present to provide helpful information for everyone.”

Roses at the flower sale range from a single rose to an entire bouquet. Prices range from $2 to $20.

CAB is still looking for student volunteers to help at this year’s event.

“We don’t require much from our volunteers,” Castillo said. “Just that they provide their name and ID number and how long they’re able to volunteer at the event.”

Students interested in volunteering at Tuesday’s Cupid’s Workshop can contact Assistant Director of Student Life and Conduct, Thalia Guerra-Flores at thaliaguerraflores@grcc.edu or a CAB representative in the Student Life office.
