Kylie Jenner gave birth!

This weekend Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, rapper Travis Scott, welcomed a baby girl on Feb. 1 at 4:43 p.m.

Rumors of Jenner’s pregnancy have been flying for months, but she and the rest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have been tight-lipped about the situation.

In a post on her social media, Jenner talked about why she kept her pregnancy a secret.

“I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness,” Jenner wrote.

Later on, she shared a video that documented the past nine months of her pregnancy up until birth. In the video we see a pregnant Kylie meeting her niece, Chicago West, who was born only a month before. We also get a glimpse of Jenner and Khloe Kardashian comparing baby bumps. Khloe Kardashian announced her pregnancy on social media Dec. 20, 2017.

Jenner has not yet announced a name for the child who came out at 8 lbs. 9 oz.

Justin Timberlake’s halftime show

Justin Timberlake was chosen to perform again at this year’s halftime show during the Superbowl. The singer had performed 14 years ago when he ripped off a piece of Janet Jackson’s clothing and accidentally showed her nipple to the world.

This year’s show was less scandalous but didn’t go off without a hitch. Many people complained of there being poor sound quality during the beginning of the performance. There were also complaints about Timberlake’s “Prince” tribute.

During the performance, Timberlake sang “with” the “Purple Rain” singer who died in 2016. Many complained that Prince wouldn’t have wanted to have that done. In a 1998 interview with Guitar World Magazine, Prince was asked directly about the use of digital editing to “create a situation where you could jam with any artist from the past.” He was not a fan.

“That’s the most demonic thing imaginable,” he said. “Everything is as it is, and it should be. If I was meant to jam with Duke Ellington, we would have lived in the same age. That whole virtual reality thing… it really is demonic. And I am not a demon. Also, what they did with that Beatles song (Free As A Bird), manipulating John Lennon’s voice to have him singing from across the grave… that’ll never happen to me. To prevent that kind of thing from happening is another reason why I want artistic control.”

Despite all the controversy, many still enjoyed the show and we got a great meme out of it.

Lady Gaga cancels tour dates

Due to medical reasons, Lady Gaga will be cutting her Joanne World Tour short by 10 performances. Saturday morning her team announced on Instagram and Twitter that she “is suffering from severe pain that has materially impacted her ability to perform live.” She also canceled her last concert dates in England.

“I’m so devastated I don’t know how to describe it,” Gaga tweeted. “All I know is that if I don’t do this, I am not standing by the words or meaning of my music. My medical team is supporting the decision for me to recover at home. We’re canceling the last 10 shows of my Joanne World Tour. I love this show more than anything, and I love you, but this is beyond my control. London, Manchester, Zurich, Koln, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Berlin. And Rio. I promise I will be back in your city, but for now, I need to put myself and my well-being first. I love you, forever. XX Gaga.”

There is currently no plan to make up the tour dates, but those who bought tickets can receive a refund.
