The Grand Rapids Community College Psychology Department will be hosting its last Psychology Speaker Series tomorrow.

This month’s speaker will be Central Michigan University professor and Director of Experiential programs, Bryan Gibson. Gibson received a PH.D in in Social Psychology from the University of Utah in 1991.

Gibson will be discussing the effects of media and whether or not watching TV or playing video games can alter the way you think. Living in the 21st century people have instant access to all types of  media but how does it affect our psychological experiences?

This event is free for all students and staff and will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Applied Technology in room 168.

GRCC’s Psychology Department has been hosting the speaker series since 2009. Videos of all the speakers are available on the Psychology Department web page here.
