Grand Rapids Community College is organizing a GRADfest, during which the school celebrates graduating students and provides all the necessary information required to participate in the commencement ceremony at the end of the winter semester.
GRADfest is a day where GRCC graduates can enjoy themselves and also get everything ready for graduation, including getting tickets, purchasing their cap, gown, tassel and receiving their commemorative stole in a celebrative environment.
“The GRADfest allows them one spot to go get all the practical information they need,for the commencement,” said Erin Van Egmond, Associate Director of College Advancement.. “We’re also doing free professional head-shots, and there will be some refreshments.”
There will be a photo-booth and a cap decoration station for students to enjoy.
The event will take place on first floor of the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center In rooms 118-124 and the atrium on Tuesday, April 3, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
