Stolen Phone from Men’s Pool Locker Room
On March 7, at 2 p.m., a man came into the Grand Rapids Community College Police Department to file a complaint about his cell phone being stolen from the men’s locker room in the Ford Fieldhouse pool. The man said that he plugged his phone in an outlet and took a shower and there was no one else in the locker room. When he came out he found that someone had stolen his cell phone. The officer looked at the surveillance footage from the second floor and saw a young African American male who was wearing a grey and white North Face tracksuit with a hoodie. The suspect was also wearing a lanyard similar to the AAMAC (African American Male Achievement Conference) held at GRCC. The officer later sent a still shot from the video to the Head of Security at Grand Rapids Public Schools to search for a potential suspect.
