App Tuesday – Save stories to read later with the Pocket app

Summer and reading are the perfect pair – even better than rice and beans, if you ask me. But with so many summer activities on my Google Calendar, it’s hard to get all of my summer reading done. That’s where this week’s app, Pocket, comes into play.

Pocket is a save-for-later app that allows users to save articles (like all of the App Tuesday stories you’ve been meaning to catch up on) to read at a more convenient time. Pocket works with Safari, Chrome and Firefox and can store an unlimited amount of stories, podcasts, YouTube videos or just about anything that is shareable from a smartphone.

To get started using Pocket, simply download the app and enable sharing with Pocket. The app shows exactly how to enable sharing, so it’s easier than it sounds. Pocket is available for download on iOS and Android devices for free.

Do you use Pocket to catch up on reading? Do you have a favorite app we should feature? Let us know in the comments!
