Drake has a kid.

Congratulations? I’m not sure how to handle this but like, Drake has a whole kid.

A few months ago the rumor mill started churning when Pusha-T released a diss track about Drake, claiming he has a child that the world doesn’t know about. Pusha-T also released a picture of Drizzy back in his Degrassi days in blackface.

Drake responded to the photo, claiming it was from a “project that was about young black actors struggling to get roles, being stereotyped and type cast. The photos represented how African Americans were once wrongfully portrayed in entertainment.

BUT he didn’t say anything about his child until he released his album “Scorpion” and let me tell you, basically every freaking song talks about his child. (I’m exaggerating, but still). If you listened to the album, and you didn’t pick up on it you obviously weren’t listening.

In “Emotionless,” he raps: “I wasn’t hidin’ my kid from the world/I was hidin’ the world from my kid.”

And on “8 Out of 10,” he brings up his son in passing: “Kiss my son on the forehead.”

The biggest kicker though, comes from the song “March 14” where he dives into how he feels about bringing his son up in a broken family.

It’s breaking my spirit

Single father

I hate when I hear it

I used to challenge my parents on every album

Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent

Always promised the family unit

I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.

Yes, I am ugly crying in the club right now.

“House of Cards” Claire Underwood is ready for the presidency.

“Happy Independence Day…to me.” With Robin Wright’s Claire Underwood saying those words, “House of Cards” set the tone for its upcoming sixth and final season.

In the promo video posted on their Twitter, you can see Wright’s character staring down the camera like the badass she is while sitting in her boss chair.

*Spoiler* Season five of the Netflix political drama ended with Wright’s character taking control of the White House. She turned to the camera, something only her husband Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) previously did, and broke the fourth wall and declared, “My turn.”

After Spacey’s sexual misconduct allegations the show’s creators have distanced themselves from the actor. Some of the sixth season has been shot, but was shut down to regroup after the bombshell revelations about Spacey. There is no word yet on how they will deal with Frank’s character. We last left him where he was waiting for a pardon from Claire.

This promo made Twitter blow up, with people responding positively to her taking control of her destiny and show.

“This is MY President!!” Twitter user @adriannelaw posted with a gif.

Joining Wright this year are returning cast members Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver. Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear have also joined the cast for the final season.

“House of Cards” is set to return to Netflix in 2018, and I for one can’t wait to see what my president does next.

Chance the Rapper is engaged!

I’m crying ugly tears over this, too.

During the Fourth of July holiday the Grammy winner decided to pop the question to his long-time girlfriend, Kirsten Corley.

“She said yes,” he wrote on his Twitter after video surfaced online of the adorable moment.

In a video posted on The Shade Room, the musician got down on one knee—while shirtless—and asked his girlfriend to marry him. “Kirsten Katrina Corley, will you make me a man and be my wife?” he is overheard asking.

The couple share a daughter named Kensli who ran up to her parents soon after the engagement.

They  embraced in a group hug as friends clapped and cheered in the background.

“Proposed In The Hunninds! @chancetherapper You A Real One! 7-4-18 #BlockBoys,” his brother Taylor Bennett shared on Instagram.

While he has tried to keep his romantic life private, Chance the Rapper previously thanked Corley and their daughter after winning multiple trophies including Best New Artist at the 2017 Grammy Awards.

How freaking cute are they though? I don’t even have words.

I told you all this week would be happier, and yes, I delivered. You’re all welcome. Enjoy this moment, cry the happy tears, things are beautiful right now. Ttyl.
