Grand Rapids Community College offers students resume workshops for interview preparation, thank you notes, reference guides and cover letters.

Whether students need help with starting a resume or finishing one, they can get the help they need right on campus. Drop in sessions that can include mock interviews from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday in room 103 in the Main Building.

Getting a job can be hard and that’s why GRCC is offering these workshops, to help students gain confidence in their interview skills and resume writing.

There is no need to sign up ahead of time for workshops as students are invited to drop in when they can.

Students who can’t make it to a drop-in session can make an appointment with Student Employment Assistant Julie Earhart to get resume help. Earhart said she is available to help students with “anything that has to do with employment.” She can be reached by email at julieearhart@grcc.edu.
