Netflix is the best, right? Whether you agree or not, there are certainly some good shows and movies that Netflix offers. There are so many, it seems like you spend just about as much time choosing what to watch as you spend actually watching. Because of that, here is a list of my top five best Netflix shows.
1. “New Girl”
“New Girl” just so happens to be the best show ever, not just the best show on Netflix. This show will have your jaw dropping, and you’ll probably be laughing out loud practically all seven seasons. Zooey Deschanel and Jake Johnson are in the show too, who doesn’t love them? Having roommates and dating can be hard, but it can also be very fun and the show portrays that.
2. “Shameless”
If you feel like your life is a mess, watch “Shameless.” It’ll make you feel very good about your “mess” of a life and also teach you some great family values. Warning: although you learn family values, it is not a show to watch with your family. With some good actors like Jeremy Allen White and William H. Macy and many more, you can expect to have a love-hate relationship with each character. You will love learning and questioning the dynamic of the Gallagher family.
3. “Friends”
No matter what you read on Twitter, “Friends” is a great show. Yes, it definitely does have some social issues that are questionable but it’s from the ‘90s and things were different then. “Friends” will have you laughing, crying, angry and sometimes even confused. It has a loose plot, so there are endless episode ideas.Sadly, they stopped after nine seasons. If you start watching this show, you will understand why nine seasons just isn’t enough.
4. “The Office
“The Office” is a classic. If you haven’t already seen it, I highly recommend you watch it. You will laugh so hard your stomach hurts. The humor is unbeatable. You will also get to make lots of eye contact with John Krasinski, and who wouldn’t want that?
5. “Black Mirror”
“Black Mirror” will freak you out, but in the best way possible. Every episode is like a mini movie. With a new plot and cast, each episode will blow your mind. This show will have you thinking about concepts you never thought of before.
Also worth the watch are “Parks and Recreation,” “Californication,” “Big Mouth” and “Breaking Bad.”
