Grand Rapids Community College Student Alliance held a meeting on Thursday, Jan. 24 to discuss upcoming events, organization reports and budget.
Vice President Dylan Evans asked alliance members for suggestions pertaining to upcoming events. Recommendations included a carnival, campus wide scavenger hunt and a Bob Ross painting party. All events will be posted on the GRCC website.
One upcoming event for Valentine’s Day is scheduled on Feb. 13 in the Raider Grille. It will be held by the Campus Activities Board and will include activities such as DIY engraved glass, key chains, chocolate fondue, Henna tattoos and stuffing bears for children at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
Student Alliance Meetings are held Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The next meeting will be at 20 Student Center. All students can attend these meetings. For a full schedule follow this link.
