The Bob and Aleicia Woodrick Center for Equity and Inclusion at Grand Rapids Community College is concluding this round of its Diversity Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 20 at Fountain Street Church with a presentation on feminism by journalist Jessica Valenti.

Valenti is a best-selling author of five books, like “Yes Means Yes” and “Sex Object: A Memoir,” establishing her as a prominent voice in the modern feminist community.
She has also found success as a columnist for The Guardian, with her articles frequently topping the most-read lists at a variety of publications including The New York Times and The Washington Post.
Valenti will be doing a book signing following the lecture. The Diversity Lecture Series is free and open to the public as well as GRCC students, faculty and staff. For more information on the Diversity Lecture Series, visit the website.
