President of the United States Donald Trump will hold a Make America Great Again (MAGA) rally in Grand Rapids’ VanAndel Arena at 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Tickets for the rally are free and still available. Doors to the arena will open at 4 p.m. and seating is based on a first come, first served basis. The VanAndel Arena holds up to 10,834 at capacity, yet it is unclear how many rally-goers will be allowed to enter the arena to attend the rally. Those interested in attending can register for tickets at the president’s personal website.
City officials have announced some road and parking structure closures around the arena ahead of the rally starting at 2:30 p.m. until about 8:30 p.m.
Trump last visited Grand Rapids in December 2016 as part of his “Thank You Tour” following his presidential win.
