The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) announced the All-Academic teams on July 16, 2021, with 18 Grand Rapids Community College student-athletes receiving honors.
To earn the honors, an athlete must complete two full terms and have accumulated at least 24 hours with an overall GPA of 3.6 or higher.
For a student-athlete to receive Michigan Community College Athletic Association All-Academic First Team, they must have a cumulative GPA of 4.0. Five Raiders were able to achieve this accomplishment including:
- Redshirt-freshman Taylor Cross (softball)
- Redshirt-freshman Audrey Gower (volleyball)
- Freshman Erin Kruitoff (women’s basketball)
- Redshirt-freshman Dalton Vander Ark (baseball)
- Redshirt-freshman Alena Visnovsky (volleyball)
Seven Raiders received MCCAA All-Academic Second Team, having a GPA of 3.8-3.99. Those student-athletes were:
- Freshman Caleb Englesman (baseball)
- Sophomore Allison Hoop (women’s cross country)
- Freshman Arie Jackman (golf)
- Freshman Jeremy Marble (baseball)
- Sophomore Mariah Vos (women’s cross country)
- Freshman Alexzandria Webster (women’s cross country)
- Redshirt-freshman Matt Williams (baseball)
To receive MCCAA All-Academic Third Team, a student-athlete must have a GPA of 3.6-3.79. Six Raiders received this honor, including:
- Redshirt-freshman Collin Bradley (baseball)
- Sophomore Kailey Carmean (volleyball)
- Sophomore Jack Kehoe (men’s cross country)
- Redshirt-freshman Zari Kruger (volleyball)
- Freshman Mikayla Leow (softball)
- Redshirt-freshman Aaron West (baseball)
