Planning a trip to the Grand Rapids Community College library? During the second summer semester, the library will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The first floor will be open for students to check out textbooks and course reserves for their summer classes. Students will have access to the computer lab, study spaces and the book collection.
On top of being able to check out books, students can check out laptops, hotspots, webcams, headsets and other technology needed to help them succeed this summer. The library is also providing virtual services including reference/research help and instruction services.
“We’re here virtually, as well as on-campus, as a great place for students to study and get the help and resources they need,” said Brian Beecher, Director of Library and Learning Commons. “The library has been open and available on-campus since last August. And if you’re taking summer classes and need technology, please stop by the library.”
Students who are enrolled in fall classes can begin to check out laptops if needed the week before fall semester starts. You can learn more about the library and what it has to offer here.
