Tuesday, April 19, Grand Rapids Community College’s Music Department is hosting a performance featuring the GRCC Music Percussion Ensemble.
Instructor Samuel Gould is excited about the upcoming performance.
“This is a talented group of students who will put on a great concert filled with music from West Africa, solo drum compositions, marimba pieces and more,” Gould said.
The ensemble will take place at 3:15 p.m. at the Linn Maxwell Keller Recital Hall, and will end at 4:15. Admission is free for all attendees.
“It would be a great opportunity for students to take a brief timeout from their preparation for final exams and listen to their peers play some exciting music,” Gould said.
