Grand Rapids Community College sends out weather related cancellation and delay information via text, phone, or email.

GRCC-Delay will mean that morning classes and activities are canceled; classes that begin at 11 a.m. or later will be scheduled as normal. This goes for the Main Campus downtown, Devos campus, Lakeshore, Tassell M-TEC, and regional sites.

GRCC-Closed means that both day and evening classes will be canceled.

GRCC Closed-DAY Classes will mean activities and classes held throughout the day will be canceled. This is often concluded by 2 p.m., and all evening classes beginning at 6 p.m. will be held as scheduled.

According to the Grand Rapids National Weather Service, there is a Winter Storm Warning until Nov. 19. There is a 60-100% chance of continued snow over the weekend with a low of 17 degrees and a high of 28 degrees Saturday. More snow is expected Sunday with a low of 17 degrees. As for next week, we will be seeing partly cloudy/sunny weather Monday through Wednesday and expected snow showers on Thanksgiving Day.
