The Grand Rapids Community College Campus Activities Board is hosting a week of events to ease students into the winter semester. Welcome Week will be from Jan. 16-19, with a new event every day.
Here are some of the featured events:
Breakfast Buffet
On Jan. 16, CAB will serve free breakfast, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, seasonal fruit, coffee, and water. It will be from 9-11:30 a.m. on the 4th floor of RJF, next to the skywalk.
Games Games Games
On Jan. 17, there will be several board games, card games, and a cup game competition where the winner will receive prizes. This will be held in the Raider Grille from 12-2 p.m.
Arcade Games
On Jan. 18, there will be arcade games such as Atari Centipede, Nintendo Donkey Kong, Ms. PacMan, and Atari PONG 3D for students to enjoy. This will be held at the Raider Grille from 12-3 p.m.
Bowling Night
On Jan. 19, the final day of Welcome Week will be held off-campus at The Clique, 533 Stocking Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504. Students can play a free game of bowling with friends from 2:30-5:30 p.m. While there is no limit to how many games a student can play, the event will be limited to a maximum of 75 people.
