Fall, it’s a time of apple cider, pumpkin carving and changing leaves. A time for change, and of course, a time for celebrating the season on campus.

On Sept. 28, from noon – 4 p.m. Grand Rapids Community College will be hosting Fall Festival, put on by the Campus Activity Board. CAB is the student group that organizes campus events for GRCC students and their fall event features an exciting lineup, ranging from  a petting zoo featuring horses, goats and bunnies to mini golf, an inflatable obstacle course, DJ, pumpkin carving and more.

“This festival is focused more on students and their families,” stated CAB president Brayden Smith in an email sent to the Collegiate. ”We have had many requests from students saying they would love to bring their kids or family to an event, so we came up with a fall-themed festival that is fun for all ages! So we are telling students to bring their kids, family and friends to enjoy this free, fun event!”

There will also be free food and drinks namely hot dogs, chili dogs, elephant ears, cider and more. So, if you need something to do on Sept. 28, head on down to the Devos Campus parking lot for a grand and lively time.
