Bingo, renowned for its popularity within the retiree community, is a big hit with the younger generation. Once again, the well-known game hits Grand Rapids Community College campus. On Wednesday, Jan. 15, the Campus Activities Board will be hosting a bingo night at GRCC. This event will be held in the Raider Grill from 5 p.m to 7 p.m.
“We chose bingo because it’s an event we always receive requests for from students to keep bringing back,” stated CAB president, Brayden Smith, in an email to The Collegiate. “It’s a fun night to go with friends and try to win some awesome prizes from Bluetooth speakers to hammocks.”
Bingo, originally known as “Beano” before the early 1900s, was once only played in churches and charity events but is now played worldwide. Including GRCC so stop by the Raider Grill on Wednesday and join CAB’s bingo night.
