With the end of the semester on the horizon and finals coming up fast, things may be stressful for students at Grand Rapids Community College. On Wednesday, April 8, the Center for Counseling and Well-Being is looking to help students on the final stretch of the semester with their Chill and Connect: Game and Gather.
Chill and Connect is an assortment of events that the Center of Counseling and Well-Being has put on for the Winter 2026 semester to bring students together and to lighten the stress that students carry from day to day. Their goal with this event is to bring people together and to have something for students to do to take their minds off their schoolwork.
There are a lot of things to expect, such as video games, board games, and card games. There will also be pizza and refreshments. Representatives from the Center of Counseling will also be in attendance for those who would like to talk to them or just to see what they look like if you didn’t know already.
The Game and Gather event will be hosted in the Student Center at the Raider Grill, which is on the second floor from 4-6 p.m. The center of Counseling and Well-Being is here for us all; so show up, eat food, play games, and make friends with new people who go to the same college as you.
