On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Grand Rapids Community College sent out a campus-wide timely warning regarding an e-bike. The e-bike was stolen from a bike rack next to the bike cage on level two of Parking Ramp A. The time range of the theft was 10 a.m to 6 p.m. The bike was secured with a Schwinn bike lock. While GRCC Police are still investigating the incident, they encourage students to use the RaiderCard accessible bike storage cage on Parking Ramp A, as well as to remove the bike seat or battery when not in use, secure bikes with a high-quality lock, record the make, model, and other identifying features of your bike, and report any suspicious activity to GRCC Police.
