The Grand Rapids Community College Foundation is hosting its annual Creating Connections Breakfast to recognize honors students at GRCC.
This breakfast will be on March 20 from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. and breakfast will be served at 8 a.m., with a talk beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will be held at the Wisner-Bottrall Applied Technology Center and is open to all GRCC students.
The intention of the breakfast is to bring together scholarship recipients and donors. This will give students who have received anything from the Foundation the opportunity to show appreciation and connect with donors.
The GRCC Foundation helps students with financial needs and gifts them awards for their educational accomplishments. This foundation has been around for over 60 years and has given more than $1 million in awards to students each year for the last several years.
