Work by Grand Rapids Community College students in the photography program has filled the Paul Collins Art Gallery once again.
It is comprised of photography “representing upper level classes,” according to Gallery Curator Filippo Tagliati, who is a profesor of photography at GRCC.
A reception for the exhibition was held on January 18, where photography student Vanessa Martinez has a piece in the display.
“I submitted a couple times and finally got one in,” she said.
Photography professor Jonathon Russell, who started the photography program at GRCC in the 70’s, and Tagliati handpick which photography makes it into the display.
The art department holds this display every year around this time in the semester.
The display will be running from January 10 to February 4.
