
The Grand Rapids Community College campus was delayed two hours this morning due to a call in about a suspicious package.
Captain Pete McWatters of the GRPD said the suspicious object was actually seismic testing equipment left by a private contractor.
An employee at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital called in a suspicious object to the Grand Rapids Police Department at about 4:35 this morning. The police and a bomb squad arrived and road surrounding the campus were blocked off.
Campus is now open and classes are scheduled to resume at 11:30.
