Witches of New Salem

Details: Hope your flashlight works as you navigate through the twists and turns of the corn maze, venture through two halloween attractions, and try to avoid the devious team of Corn Stalkers, such as the witches, ghouls, and mentally twisted souls. Tickets are $15 each.

Hours/Dates of Operation: Corn maze: Sept. 28 through Oct. 27. Everything else: Sept. 27 through Nov. 2nd. Open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Heidi’s Farm stand and Bakery

Details: The “Three Little Pigs” themed corn maze at the farm stand welcomes you to join in the terror by tip-toeing through the dark ten acres and two separate corn mazes in hopes your flashlight doesn’t go out on you.

Hours: Mondays-Thursdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Fridays-Saturdays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The B.O.B.’s Halloween Party

Details: The annual costume party includes a costume contest, music, dancing, and a good time. There’s a $10 cover.

Giant Pumpkins at Michigan’s Farm Garden

Details: Discover the magnificent giant pumpkins at Frederik Meijer Gardens’ Michigan’s Farm Garden. Admission is included with the general Gardens admission. Refer to website for ticket prices.

Hours/Date of Operation: Oct. 19, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Zoo Goes Boo!

Details: Trick-or-treat on the Kooky-not-so-spooky trail. Enjoy special kids activities, animals, pumpkins, entertainment, and giant creatures that lurk around. Kids can dress up or down for this event. Admission is $7 per person, $3 per person for members, and children two and under get in free.

Hours/Date of Operation: Oct. 25 through Oct. 27: Friday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; Sunday noon to 4 p.m.)
