Police reports for September: a stolen guitar, bike and one Hit and Run

Larceny

A Blue bike with white near the handle bars was stolen in front ATC building at the bike umbrella. The bike was secured with a lock that appeared to be missing when the student returned.

Larceny- theft from motor vehicle

A guitar was stolen from a student’s car. The car was located in Bostwick Avenue on the second level. When the student returned to his vehicle he discovered his guitar was missing from the back seat. His vehicle was said to be locked and showed no damage. There are no known suspects or witnesses to this incident.

GRCC faculty member had his The North Face rain jacket stolen from his office in the M-TEC building.

Damage to Property

The middle north bench located in Bostwick Commons was bent after a plow truck at GRCC hit it. Parts have been ordered and the bench will soon be fixed.

PDA-Hit and Run

A hit and run occurred on the fifth level of the Bostwick Avenue parking ramp. A blue 1998 Mercury Sable was hit and appeared to have visible damage on the passenger side tail light. The owner of the car did not witness the accident. Attempts were made by the campus police dispatcher to contact the potential suspect of the vehicle. Those calls were unanswered.
