Grand Rapids Community College women’s basketball team lost Tuesday evening to Davenport University’s JV team. The ending score was a close 56-50.

Freshman Sara Karamol believes the team has a lot of talent, “We are still working on a few things and trying to find our chemistry to work better as a team.”

Karamol, who plays guard foreword for the team, was the leading scorer for the game with 12 points.

“At this point it’s the little things that count, and we have to put in our best effort every day to reach our goals,” Karamol said.

Despite the effort put forth by the team, their record for the season stands at 0-6.

The Raiders next game is Dec. 11 at 5:30 p.m. at the Ford Fieldhouse.
