A gathering of ArtPrize top officials addressed a full crowd at Rosa Parks Circle on Sunday afternoon. The officials announced the top 20 for the first round of the public vote. After 11 days of open public voting on the 1,536 entries located in Grand Rapids, the top five were announced in four different categories:

Public voting for round two opened Sunday afternoon following the ceremony at Rosa Parks Circle, and will continue through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 9. In the second round of voting registered voters for ArtPrize may cast one vote for as many of the 20 finalists as they wish. Winners of the sixth annual ArtPrize will be announced Oct.10, with the winner receiving the top prize of $200,000.
